Guide to set up Mosaic Validator Node to auto restart after power outage

This guide is for advanced users, we recommend using an uninterruptible power supply anyway!

Do not plug the installer pendrive into the validator machine, you need to make this setup first.

You will need a mouse to interact with the setup.

After you have connected the monitor, the keyboard and the mouse to the machine, turn on the computer, and start pressing the F12 button on the keyboard. Do not hold it down, but press it continuously, until the boot menu screen shows up.

If the computer is brand new, no operating system was installed on it before, it will enter the setup right away.

If a system is already installed or for other reasons, it does not enter setup right away, you can choose from the boot menu options to enter setup.

In the setup menu on the top of the page choose Advanced Mode.

Then in the Advanced Mode panel’s top menu, choose Settings.

In the Settings options list choose Platform Power.

On the Platform Power subsection list choose AC BACK and set it with a double click to “Always On”.

After this choose Save and Exit in the top right corner, then on the page that appears, click the top "Save & Exit Setup" option, then click the "Yes" button in the pop-up window to confirm saving the change.

Turn off the computer.

You are ready to start the installation after plugging in the pendrive with the installer program.
